Welcome to The Wolverines Page

Here's to fantastic 3rd Quarter full of learning, field trips, & awesome, challenging brain-engaging activities!

This site is a great resource, along with your child & your child's planner, to keep up-to-date on important information. Look for updates generally on Tuesday mornings. Scroll down for Supply List 2011-2012.

Field Trip #3 Information went home 2/13/12. Collection dates (due by 9:15 a.m. each day:) 2/16, 2/17, 2/22, 2/23. Trip is 2/24/12 from roughly 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Please see form for details.

Spring Picture Day is 2/23/12. Look for info. week of 2/13 (Tuesday or Wed.)

REPORT CARDS HOME 1/27. Interims = first week in March.

AR Books for Smart Lunch!!! No excuses, please. Everyone has ample opportunity to go to the MC.

Student SPAN #s & info. sheets distributed in HR/1st period Tues., 11/2/11. Please check regularly.

TO WOLVERINE PARENTS:

Check SPAN every week or so. Have your child check it as well.

If your child is struggling (Ds and Fs,)  - and not necessarily if you'd say struggling - please feel free to email teachers on Fridays: ckincaid, tgoodwin, aevans5, rjohnson5. (Make a group list and ask how the week went.) All addresses are @wcpss.net.

Set aside at least an hour each night to go over notes, homework, & discuss what was learned throughout the day.  Students should spend the remainder of the hour reading. (This is in addition to the nightly assigned 20 minutes from LA.)

Go through your child s notebooks/binder at least once a week. Help organize notes, etc.

Go through your student's agenda. Teachers are willing to “sign-off” off  on/in agenda; however, is does need to be the students' responsibility to bring it to the teacher at the end of their class period.
