Milton Elementary/Middle School

School Year!

We would especially like to welcome our brand new students & their parents to our Milton Family.  We hope you will find that there truly is "No Place Like MIlton". 

We are happy to announce the addition of an itinerate counselor to our counseling program.  Mrs.  Shannon Norse has joined our Milton Elem/Middle Family.  Our grade responsibilities are:

Mrs. Michelle - Grades K-3 (Bodin/Garber's 3rd Grade)

Mrs. Norman - Grades 3-6 (Guillot/Forbes' 3rd Grade)

     Mrs. Norse - Grades 7-8  (T/TH and Every Other Friday)

State- Mandated Testing Schedule 

The LEAP Test (4^th & 8^th grades) will be administered in two phases. Phase I will be conducted on Tuesday, March 20^th  and will consist only of the writing portions English Language Arts & Math Tests. Phase two of the LEAP Test will consist of the remaining parts of the ELA & Math as well as the entire Science & Social Studies Tests. The second phase of the LEAP Test will be administered April 12^th, 13^th, 16^th & 17^th. 

The entire iLEAP Test (3^rd, 5^th, 6^th &7^th graders) will be administered April 12^th, 13^th, 16^th & 17^th, which is the same week as phase two of the LEAP Test.

This year, for the first time, all 2^nd graders will also take a test (ITBS).  This test will be administered at the same time as the iLEAP & LEAP Phase Two Test (April 12^th, 13^th, 16^th & 17^th).  

Last year we presented our new PBIS Bully Prevention Program to all our students. We will be using this program again this year.  The purpose of this program is to give students the tools to reduce bullying behavior through the blending of school-wide positive behavior support, explicit instruction, and the redefinition of the bullying construct.
