Our last full week of school! Can you believe it?

What we Are Learning:

Religion: We will be talking about how the first church served the people! We will have a test on Friday! (This is our last religion test of the year before the final!)

Math: We will be looking at fractions! We will look at part vs. whole. We will also look at equal and unequal parts

Reading: This week's story is called "Simple Machines". This is an expository nonfiction. Our comprehension skill this week is main idea and summarizing. Our phonic skills this week are /oi/ and /oy/. We will also practice /er/ and /or/. Our spelling words this week are oil, soil, voice, boy, boil, toy, coin, oink, joy, point, against, heavy. Our high frequency words are against, heavy, goes, kinds, today.

HOMEWORK HELP LINE!

There will be math homework, however it is not posted on school notes due to the fact that it may change during the day. Please check your child's homework book for math homework! :)

Monday: Spelling: write each word in ABC order 2X's each.  

Tuesday: Spelling: write sentences for words 1-6. Reading: read "Simple Machines" 

Wednesday: Spelling: write sentences for words 7-12.

Thursday: Spelling: write each word 2X's each. Study! Reading: Read "Simple Machines" Religion: Study!

Friday: No homework! Enjoy your weekend! :)
