6th Grade Language Arts & Social Studies

Welcome GEM students and parents!  Please visit the website regularly for classroom and homework information.

ALL Gem students are required to bring a library book/novel to class EVERY DAY.

In Language Arts, we are finishing the novel Tuck Everlasting.  I have access to only 32 books and teach 81 children.  I cannot allow books to go home; however, a paperback can be purchased for less than $10 and the many Wake County libraries will happily let you borrow it for free if your child needs to review/read at home.
