Vocabulario:

The definitions for these words in Spanish are in your child's spelling and vocabulary notebook. It is also a great idea to invest in a dictionary at home, if you do not have one already. Students must be able to use the word in context, in order to place it in the correct sentence on the quiz.

Students are very exited to start learning their multiplication tables. The procedure will be as follows:

- They will receive a new table every week starting with the 0, 1 and 2 tables.

- They will glue their tables on their agendas for practice.

- At home, choose many methods to help them learn and practice, such as but not limited to: flashcards, write 3 times, online practice on thinkcehtral.com, aaamath.com, math.com, "timezattack" (http://www.bigbrainz.com/), practice worksheets downloaded from internet.

- They will learn at their own pace.

- Every Thursday I will have available mini-quizzes for each table. They MUST take one every Thursday.

- To pass they can only miss ONE problem.

- If they pass they get a new table to work on.

- If they do not pass, they will take the same table quiz on Friday. If pass they move on. If not, they will have until the next Thursday, and so on...THEY MOVE AT THEIR OWN PACE until they master all 12 tables.

- If you have any questions as to how this works, please email me.
