Welcome to our Reading Class!Note: For our end of the year "8th Grade Celebration," we'll walk down to Applebee's for lunch on May 18th!From now until mid-May, we will work on reading and test taking strategies. But, of course, we'll continue to enjoy some great novels, too! Be sure to ask your child what he or she is reading in class. Ask about the plot, main conflict and theme. They've chosen some fantastic books and I'm sure you'll have great discussions. :-)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Besides the class novel, students are expected to have a "free choice novel" with them each class period.
