Final copy is due 5/25. Monday, 5/7: Read in your chosen novel. The next reading due date is Wednesday, May 9th. Also, be sure to complete your novel graphic organizer if not completed in class. This does not have to be a complete draft, but it should show a start to your paper. Wednesday 3/14: Periods 2,4,7,and 8 Only: Begin revising your Media Essay Rough Draft based upon the feedback you received in class. Period 3: A complete Rough Draft for your Media Essay will be due in class on Friday, 3/16. This needs to include an Introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Thursday 3/15: Periods 2,4,7,and 8 Only: The final copy of your Media Essay is due. This needs to be printed before class, and be sure to bring a printed copy of your Rough Draft with Peer Review comments. Period 3: Bring in a complete Rough Draft of your Media Essay to class: Introduction, 3 Body Paragraphs, and a Conclusion. This can be saved on a Flash Drive on Microsoft Word or printed out before class. Friday 3/9: Periods 2,4,7,and 8: Bring in a saved (on a flash drive) or printed copy of a rough draft for the Media Essay. This needs to be at least one full page, but it does not have to be a complete draft (Intro, 3 Body Paragraphs, Conclusion). Period 3: Complete your graphic organizer for the Media Essay. Monday 2/27: Finish your CBAS writing prompt that was begun in class. This must be submitted for a score (it will be automatically submitted if the time runs out). Wednesday 2/29: Write for 20 minutes in your Writer's Notebook. Thursday 3/1: Read for 20 minutes in your Independent Reading Book and record your reading. Wednesday 2/22: Write in your Writer's Notebook for 20 minutes. Thursday 2/23: Read for 20 minutes in your Independent Reading Book and record your reading. Friday 2/24: Finish Deconstructing Media worksheet if not completed in class. Monday 2/13: Read for 20 minutes in your Independent Reading Book and record your reading. Tuesday 2/14: Revise and submit your CBAS writing piece once tonight. You should write for at least 20 minutes before submitting your piece for a score. Monday 9/19: Write down as many definitions for the word "game" as possible. Tuesday 9/20: Write in your Writer's Notebook for at least 20 minutes.
