Monday 12/19: A typed Rough Draft of you Historical Fiction pioece needs to be in class for tomorrow 12/20. 2 page minimum. Bring your Flash Drive to class and Historical Fiction novel.

Tuesday 12/20: Continue revising your Rough Draft for the Historical Fiction Writing Piece. Conduct any research which will add authenticity to your writing.

 Final Draft is due Friday, 12/23.

Wednesday 12/21: Print a copy of your Rough Draft to bring into class tomorrow 12/22. This should be no less than 2 pages, double-spaced, 12point font.

Thursday 12/22: Final Copy packet of the Historical Fiction Writing piece is due tomorrow, 12/23. The packet must include your peer-edited Rough Draft, your revision checklist, and your typed Final Copy. The Final Copy needs to be at least two full pages, double-spaced, 12 point font, with the proper heading in the upper-right corner.

 

 

 

 

 

Monday 12/12: Write a two page interview for your chosen celebrity/author/etc. in your Writer's Notebook. Use the provided Oprah interview transcript as a model for proper formatting.  

Tuesday 12/13: Continue working on your journal entries from the perspective of your chosen famous person. You need to have two entries in total based upon two major events from that person's life. This needs to be in your Writer's Notebook and a minimum of 2 pages in length altogether.

Wednesday 12/14: Complete the screenplay in your Writer's Notebook from Back to the Future. Refer to the clip on Youtube.com. Search: Back to the Future (1/10) Movie CLIP Doc Brown Reveals the DeLorean.

Thursday 12/15: Decide which option you will pursue for the Historical Fiction Writing Task. Begin brainstorming important details you will need for the piece. Please put this information on a piece of paper for class tomorrow (or you can do this in your Writer's Notebook). You will need your novels for class tomorrow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monday 12/5: Complete the "Historical Fiction Conflict Illustration Worksheet". This will be collected for a grade.
