CLASSROOM RULES 1. Follow directions the first time they are given. 2. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. 3. Come to class on time and prepared with all materials needed. 4. No food or drink allowed in the hallways or classroom except clear water in a capped bottle. 5. Respect yourself, respect others, and respect property.
DISCIPLINARY CONSEQUENCES In compliance with Mrs. Rhodes instructions, all disciplinary consequences are recorded on a referral form, sent home for parent’s signature, and maintained in a behavior logbook. Repeated behavioral problems may warrant a revised set of rules and disciplinary consequences. 1. Warning 2. Lunch detention for 15 minutes in the former teacher’s lunch area. 3. Lunch detention for full 30 minutes in the former teacher’s lunch area. 4. One hour of detention either before or after school. 5. Trip to the Principal’s Office Severe Clause: Student immediately sent to the office This sever clause is reserved for behavior that needs immediate removal from the presence of other students. Examples include but not limited to: fighting, cursing, blatant disobedience. REWARDS 1. Praise 2. Good note or positive parent contact 3. Small tangible reward such as a pencil, sticker, etc. 4. Ms. Jeff promises not to sing out loud In class.
