No school on Friday or Monday. Have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend! Tuesday 5/29 is Olympic Day. Students must wear gym uniforms and tennies. Lunch will be provided!

Spelling:Test today--good job everyone! Spelling test booklets may stay at home--there will be no more spelling tests this year!

Reading/Lang.Arts: Today we read more of Ramona and Beezus. Then we made Venn diagrams comparing and contrasting the two main characters--Beezus and her little sister Ramona.

English: We worked with sentences today identifying the subjects and predicates.

 Handwriting: We really need to work on remembering to be neat in all of our work (whether it is being graded for handwriting or not) and correct letter formation. Keep practicing!!

Math:  Today we did some more work with time, rounding numbers and estimating sums and multiplication.

 Religion:  We had a lovely May Crowning today. God certainly blessed us with a beautiful day! We learned about all the different names that we give to Mary: Queen of the Rosary, Queen of Heaven, Mother of Us All, Mother of God, etc....
