Our school year is going great!  The students are learning so much!

Our team is working  on mastering the 12 Most Powerful Words and all have completed their first 8, about half have their last 4 also!  They are having a great time and really experiencing success with this task!  We are also employing the UNRAAVEL technique in reading, math, social studies, and science!

Currently in Math, we are taking on percents and decimals.  The kids love the Classroom Racko game we play!  We will continue to develop these concepts as we work with probability and ratios also this quarter.

In Social Studies, we have finished studying Western Eurpoe, and will be moving into Eastern Europe with a novel study.  This is a historical fiction piece by Karen Hesse called Letters from Rifka.  Parents, I would love you to read along with us, as this book is truly touching and inspirational!
