NOV  2 -   Finish Rough Draft of Essay - Prompt "Who did more for Amcient Greece: Pericles or Alexander the Great" 

Paragraph 1 - Topic Sentence, list reasons. Paragraph 2 - Reason 1 with elaboration, Paragraph 3 - Reason 2 and elaboration, Paragraph 4 - Conclusion

NOV  3 -  Discussed Conclusions today. We spent a lot of time reading their conclusions out loud to get ideas and identify mistakes.  Tonight they need to make sure their rough draft is complete.  Tomorrow we will bein the computer lab.  Everyone has the opportunity to type their final draft in class tomorrow.  If students feel they cannot finish in 45 minutes, they can type it at home and complete another assignment in class.   DUE TOMORROW - Final copy, rough draft and Venn Diagram.

NOV 4  - Computer Lab today.  Everyone has the opportunity to type their Final essay.  One Period only.  Make up School Pictures (If you were absent or unhappy with quality)

NOV  5 -  We are working on an extra credit assignment today.  If completed properly, they will get to choose from points added to a test or quiz.

Extra credit and Test Retakes

Just want to clarify my take on these two things.

My extra credit is pre-determined throughout the trimester.

ex - Dress to Impress, Signed interims, Signed Tests, Fun Quizzes and a couple of others that take on different forms.

Test re-takes - I usually do not do them, unless there is some unusual reason.
