Monday: We practiced multiplying with up to 2 mixed numbers.  Homework:  p. 211, #4-26 evens if not finished in class.  Test Thursday on Multiplying fractions and mixed numbers.

Tuesday:We worked on the Chapter review (up to #22 on page 232) alone or in a study group.  No homework. Test Thursday.

Wednesday: We corrected the chapter review together and then did more dividing fractions and mixed numbers practice.  Homework: finish practice worksheet if not completed in class.  Test tomorrow.

Thursday: Test.  No homework.

Friday:  Finished tests and/or played a math game with multiplying mixed numbers.  No homework.

Grade 5-2 (meets with me 2nd 10:35-11:15)

Monday: We put all notes from last week's concepts into our composition notebooks, then added information about polygons.  Homework:  p. 372-373, #11-26.

Tuesday: We practiced finding lines of symmetry.  Homework:  worksheet 9-5.

Wednesday: Students took notes on similar and congruent figures.  We then practiced creating and measuring angles.  Homework:  worksheet 9-2 if not completed in class.

Thursday: We place a game with pentos (shapes made with 5 squares).  No homework.

Friday:  We worked with translations.  No homework.

Grade 7

Monday: We reviewed Friday's lesson on percent proportion problems.  Homework:  p. 351, #11-28 if not completed in class.

Tuesday: Stusdents worked on the chapter review, p. 352 1-9, 353-5 11-61 odds.  Homework:  finish review if not completed in class.

Wednesday: Students self-corrected their chapter reviews and we went over all questions.  No specific homework.  Test tomorrow.

Thursday: Test.  No homework.

Friday: Science fair - no class.

Pre-Algebra

Monday: Students took notes on Multiplying mixed numbers.  Homework:  practice book p. 139-140, evens.  Project #2 due Friday.

Tuesday:Students took notes on dividing fractions.  Homework:  practice book p. 141 all. Project #2 due Friday.

Wednesday: We practiced dividing mixed numbers.  Homework:  practice book p. 143-144 evens.  Project due Friday.

Thursday: We practiced using Order of Operations to simplify equations.  No homework.

Friday: Science fair - no class.

Grade 8 

Monday:  Students finished tests and/or worked on a cumulative review of chapters 1-7.  Homework:  finish review if not completed in class.

Tuesday: We solved problems using proportion.  Homework: p. 332, 11-19.

Wednesday: Students took notes on using formulas to find percents of numbers.  No homework.

Thursday:Students used yesterday's notes to solve problems.  No homework. 

Friday: We continued yesterday's work.  No homework. 

Algebra

Monday:  Students finished tests and/or worked on a review of polynomials.  Homework:  finish review p. 415, if not completed in class.

Tuesday: We went over last night's homework together.  Homework:  review p. 465, 1-18 (not 13 or 14).

Wednesday: We went over last night's homework together.  Homework:  p. 469 Get ready.

Thursday: We did a review of multiplying binomials and factoring trinomials.  Homework: Finish one worksheet.

Friday:We continued yesterday's work.  No homework.
