HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

2nd QUARTER- GRADES K-1

Kindergarten and 1st grade will enjoy a scooter board unit during 2nd quarter. We will discuss the safety rules and procedures for scooter boards and will learn different ways in which to ride the scooter boards. K-1 will also be participating in non-locomotor movements such as bending, stretching, twisting, turning, and shaking.

2nd QUARTER- GRADES 2-5

Grades 2-5 will be participating in a scooter board unit 2nd quarter. Students will review the safety rules and procedures for scooter boards along with the various ways to ride. Students will play several games using the scooter boards.

* If the equipment is available, we will include a bowling unit with grades K-5 2nd quarter.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS WEAR REGULAR TENNIS SHOES IN P.E. CLASS. TENNIS SHOES ARE THE ONLY SHOES THAT ARE SAFE AND APPROPRIATE FOR THE ACTIVITIES IN THIS CLASS. PLEASE HELP YOUR CHILD REMEMBER TO WEAR THEIR TENNIS SHOES ON THE DAY THAT THEY HAVE P.E.

FOR SAFETY REASONS, STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE ON TENNIS SHOES.
