Faith Elementary School and Cleveland Elementary School

Kangaroo Club will be starting soon. In order to qualify for the Kangaroo Club, students must jump rope a designated number of jumps, depending on their grade level, without stopping or messing up.

Kindergarten - 15 jumps

1st grade - 30 jumps

2nd grade - 45 jumps

3rd grade - 60 jumps

4th grade - 75 jumps

5th grade - 90 jumps

3rd QUARTER- GRADES K-1

Grades K-1 will be using beanbags to help improve eye-hand coordination. Students will participate in many different activities which include individual challenges, partner challenges and games. Students will also begin a jump rope unit in March. 

3rd QUARTER- GRADES 2-5

Grades 2-5 will be participating in basketball activities which will include working on such skills as dribbling, passing and delivering the ball to the basket. They will also be starting a jump rope unit in March.

 * IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT STUDENTS WEAR REGULAR TENNIS SHOES IN P.E. CLASS. TENNIS SHOES ARE THE ONLY SHOES THAT ARE SAFE AND APPROPRIATE FOR THE ACTIVITIES IN THIS CLASS. PLEASE HELP YOUR CHILD REMEMBER TO WEAR THEIR TENNIS SHOES ON THE DAY THAT THEY HAVE P.E.

FOR SAFETY REASONS, STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE ON TENNIS SHOES.
