Class News for May 21st - 25th

 Dear Parents,

                    I hope that you heard all about the wonderful Spirit Week we just completed. It was awesome!! We are waiting to hear who won. The announcement will be made tomorrow. Thank you for all the pennies. Penny Wars was the hit of the week, and we were a force to be reckoned with!!

                   We are winding up our work, and completing our books, so there will be no more homework. This week, the children will learn about Memorial Day, in preparation for the upcoming holiday.

                   On Thursday, the students will attend a 1:00 performance of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", presented by the Drama Club and Middle School. You may attend also, or you may come to the show at 7:00 pm. We are looking forward to this show.

                    Please remember to return the Tech-Walk permission slips and the class trip forms as well. The class moms will attend the trip on June 6th, and there is room for 3 additional parents. If you wish to be considered to go on the trip, please notify me in writing by Friday, May 25th.

                    Friday is our Walk-a-thon. Proceeds will go to support technology in our school. The children may wear regular clothes, and they must wear sneakers. The colors for the day are red, white and blue. The children may bring a water bottle and a hat or cap to wear. It is always a lot of fun!!

                    On Friday, the students will be dismissed at 12:00 noon to begin the long holiday weekend. School re-opens on Wednesday, May 30th.
