Weekly Spelling Homework 

       Grade 3

General Information:

1. We will try to cover one lesson per week.

2. Spelling test day is Friday. Homework is due at that time.

3. Sentences should be varied and should include questions, statements, commands/requests, and exclamations (!).

4. Please check for capitalization, punctuation, spelling and complete thoughts.

5. Homework should be done on binder paper and have a full heading.

6. Spelling lists will be posted on my SchoolNotes page.

　Weekly Homework Directions:

1. Alphabetize list and challenge words.

2. Write a sentence for each list and challenge word.

*Be sure to underline the targeted word in each sentence.

*****All test papers will be sent home and need to be signed and returned the following school day. Students must correct any misspelled words (they will be circled) before returning their test. This is done in effort to help the children improve their spelling. These corrections should be done on the test itself or a separate sheet of paper stapled to the test.
