HEALTH CLASS
 
Grade 6:   The 6th graders are finishing up their unit on Communication skills and Decision making skills.  The next unit will focus on Self Esteem, Self Image and Traits of Good Character.
 
Grade 7:  The 7th graders have taken a break form the Tobacco unit this week and were presented with the SOS (signs of suicide ) video today, Monday, Nov. 16th.  For the next week in Health classs we will be discussing the acronym ACT.  Acknowledge, Care and Tell.  How to help a friend who might be depressed. 
Grade 8: The 8th grade students are currently writing and sharing their reflection papers on Cruel Schools, Bullying and Harassment.  Each student has a rubric for this paper and is given one class period to work on it.
