Literacy - focusing on describing ourselves in paragraph and on a poster incorporating connections (Reading Power and Writing Power) and writing with details (Write Traits).  In Word Work we are all working on the same lists this month to get the routines instilled for more independent work on more skill-appropriate lists using Words Their Way.

Numeracy - using the resources of both Math Makes Sense and Jump Math, we are working on number concepts with numbers into the millions

                     * reading/writing numbers

                     * place value

                     * addition

Social Studies - mapping skills and knowledge beginning with a review of Canada and moving on into the world.

French - being taught by Mrs. McMasters on Monday and Friday.
