Mrs. Mize's Class

A.I.G. means academically and intellectually gifted, and we work hard in here to let students foster critical thinking skills, and challenge them to go further and deeper.  



We are starting to get ready for those dreaded EOGs in May.  Here are some things that we will be working on in the next couple of months.


We will be learning an EOG Testing Strategy Called RUNNERS.
R- read title
U- underline key words in questions
N- number paragraphs
N- now read
E- enclose key words in selection
R- re-read questions
S- select best answer


Math- diagonals, properties of polygons, algebra, coordinate system, and transformations

Reading- nonfiction strategies, summarizing, drawing conclusions, parts of speech, context clues
