Grade 5 - English:  Game boards are due by 5/16/12.

 

               Social Studies:  Great job on the explorer projects.  We are in the process of doing Chapter 7, Early European Settlements of North America.

Grade 6 - Social Studies:  We have a test on Chapter 10 on May 3rd with Department Morning, Tuesday, 5/1.

 

Grade 7 - Social Studies:  Students did a great job on their explorer projects and we are currently in the process of reviewing Chapter 9, The Jefferson Era.

 

Grade 8 - Social Studies:  Students were just tested on Chapter 18.  We are starting Chapter 19 this week which is the Growth of Industry.

 

 

 

A lot of parents have been inquiring about the summer science camp.  We will be having a 7 week science camp this year.  The dates of camp will be from July 9th through August 24th.  There will be many special events taking place during those weeks.  For instance, presentations from Biomes, Roger Williams Zoo, Slater Mill, and Casey Farms.  We will also have the 18 food water slide for 3 weeks this summer.  If parents sign their children up for the entire camp, the 7th week is free.  We are also providing free extended day services until 6:00 p.m.   More information will be sent home with your children in April.
