                                            Reminders
                    

                           Assignments for Absent Students

                        This is in the Parent Handbook        

            **2.9 -After 3 consecutive days of absence, homework
            may be requested for a student. Requests should be
            made early in the day so that material may be prepared
            by the end of the school day.
                 
        **Teachers are not obligated to prepare assignments for
           students who are absentfor family trips.
 

        *Please make sure your child has a silent reading
           book at all times.
 
        *Please check your child's pencil case to be sure all
          the supplies are replenished. 
          I am going to start to have them to bring the
          case home every Friday so you can check it.
          Some children can really use pencils.

         *** These notes will be until the end
         of the year.  There are approximately
         six days of school left.

                                             Math

          We will continue to work on  multiplication tables.
         The children are to study those flash cards.  We will
         also be working with some division.  We will do some
         skill review work.

            Reading

       We will be reading "Annabelle's Party" and
        " Allie's Basketball Dream".
       We will also continue to do some activities
       with  Readers' Theater

           Spelling

      We are working with Unit 36 words.
     
      The tablet must come home nightly so the
       words can be studied for the end of the
       week test.

                     Science

              We will continue to discuss how
             magnets are used everyday.
                 *************************************************


                               
                       Religion

                
        The children continue to discuss the
        being in heaven forever.
