Hard to believe that the year is half way over. It is absolutely flying by! 

In Math, we will be finishing the Pythagorean Thoerm, and then jumping onto slope next.  

In science, the students have been working hard to master the ever challenging curriculum. We will be spending a few more days discussing chemistry and other ways that chemicals affect the world we live in. In just a few weeks we will be knee deep in our next topic, Geologic Time.

Please encourage your children to continue to fill out their agendas with homework and reminders, and please sign them every night. This is the most important communication tool on the Dolphins team, and Ms. Isaac and myself will send many notes home to you throughout the year. Also, if your child does not have their agenda signed in the morning, they will be required to sit in silent lunch. This is usually a pretty disappointing part of their day, and a simple area where it could be avoided.

We appreciate all you do to help us give your child the best 8th grade year possible!
