A website that I encourage your child to visit on a daily basis is:  www.ixl.com./signin/hurley.  This is a website that Mrs. Walton purchased for the school. It is math practice. I sent the new log in information home with your child. The info is on lime green paper that is stapled to your child's agenda.

Another website purchased by Mrs. Walton is:

www.raz-kids.com.  This website has been updated for the 2011-2012.This is a reading website.  Your child should log in to the user name kimgall and their name will appear.

Who will be the daily winner in First in Math?  Every day, a student who solved the most problems in First in Math will wear the "Badge of Honor".  I have sent home information with your child's log in.  The website is:  www.firstinmath.com

There are also other free websites:

www.freerice.com (vocabulary, math)

 www.mathplayground.com (math)

www.starfall.com  (reading)

www.learningtoday.com (math & reading)

These are wonderful websites to help your child practice his/her skills.

If you have any questions, or if you need to reach me, please put a note in your child's agenda, e-mail me (best) or call the school. Please remember to send in any money in an envelope with your child's name and PIN number on it.
