Mrs. Singleton’s 8th Grade Science All students received a grade printout on Friday, 11/6th. OnCourse online gradebook becames available to you Nov. 4th. Parents will need to come to the school office to obtain the codes for accessing student's grades online. BTW (by the way) STUDENTS: The link to your textbook is right above this box. The log in is science254 and the password is j9j9. IT'S SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT TIME!
The rubric for students' 2nd 9 weeks project can be found on my Projects/Science Fair web page. Just click on the link below for rubrics, rules, due dates, etc. http://new.schoolnotes.com/xpages/view/39320/1 Or you can access the Projects webpage at new.schoolnotes.com by clicking on my link, "Mrs. Singleton's Projects and Science Fair" info. Overview: All students will complete a science fair project. All students will also complete a 2 page research paper about their chosen topic. Students may choose between 3 types of projects: Science Fair quality (125 points), Classroom Fair quality (100 points) or they may build a Rube Goldberg contraption (100 points). Paperwork was sent home for you to sign this week and was due back on: Tuesday, Nov 3rd. There are still several students who have not returned their signed paperwork. Research papers are due: December 1st Projects are due: December 11th
