Homework:  Spelling and vocabulary words are to be studied nightly; language and reading homework will be assigned on a day-to-day basis in conjunction with skills covered in class.  Please check with your child daily for any additional homework assignments.

AR:  Each student has been assigned an individual goal.  This goal is accomplished through reading grade level books for comprehension and testing on the book upon completion of reading.  Each student is required to maintain an 85, or higher, average in AR.  Time is alloted in class for AR, but it will be necessary for students to read outside of the classroom.  Please encourage your child to read daily/nightly in order to reach his/her fullest potential.
