Announcements & Reminders for the week of 1/5-1/9

Happy New Year!!!


* RELIGION: We will be discussing the meaning of "Faith."  Our Memory Test will be Hebrews 11:1-2 on Thursday!!! 

* MATH: We will be reviewing Lessons 6-1 through 6-8, completing the Cumulative Review for Ch. 1-5, and starting Lesson 7-1.  

*6TH GRADE SCIENCE: We will be covering "Ocean Properties and Currents" with a variety of activities to enrich the topics.    

*7TH GRADE SCIENCE:  We will be covering "Amphibians and Reptiles" with a variety of activities to enrich the topics.     

*8TH GRADE SCIENCE:  We will be covering "Acids and Bases" with a variety of activities to enrich the topics.     

*LITERATURE: We will be reading and discussing select short stories from our Literature textbook .  Continue to read and take quizzes for the 3rd Quarter Accelerated Reader Goals!!!

*3RD QUARTER BOOK REPORT: Our next book report will be in the form of a "Newspaper Article" on a mystery book of their choice. Directions will be handed out Monday, Jan. 12th. Due Date is Monday, March 2nd.

* Don't forget to sign your child's agenda each night as communication to me that the daily homework has been completed. Thank you!!!

* Shepherd of the Desert Decals are for sale to help raise money for the athletic program. You can buy them for $2 at the school office or from me. Show your pride and support for our school community!!!
