Due to SRI testing, STEM fair, and other unusual events this week, I will not be posting the homework.  This week is going to be quite abnormal and I will not know what material we will have time to cover each day until that day has ended.  Also, due to my role as STEM coordinator, I will be out of the class room quite a bit this week.  Students will most likely have less homework than normal for me this week.  Please refer to his/her agenda book for homework assignments.

Week of 1/9/12-We are FAST testing this week.  Please have your child at school everyday this week unless they are truly ill.  Testing completes by 10am, so please be sure he or she is here on time.

There is no Science homework this week except for preparing the STEM Fair project board which is due next week (1/17).  All parts should be typed and the research paper needs to be resubmitted.

There has been a change in this weeks homework for Math and the topics we will be covering.  We have decided not to move on to decimals at this time.  It has been an unusual week and students haven't had adequate time to practice measuring and therefore are not ready to move on.  As next week is only a 3 day week, we will not move on then either, so decimals will be post poned until after the winter break.  Monday's math test will be on measuring to fractions of an inch and review topics, not decimals.

Welcome to another Fabulous School Year

Homework assignments will be posted here (usually for the whole week) as well as Newsletters and other important information.  Please sign up for the e-mail alerts and you will be notified each time an addition or change is made to this page.  The students are expected to copy the homework word for word in class from my agenda book daily.  Sometimes changes must be made during the week due to material that was or wasn't covered each day.  The assignment book copied in class is always the most up to date information.  If it differs from these assignments, follow the assignment book as I don't always remember to post the changes here.  The Welcome letter sent home the first day is attached.
