(I apologize in advance, my old page was deleted- Grading rubrics and Links will be added again when I get the chance.thanks) ~~~~~~~~~Week of Oct 5th, 2009~~~~~~~~~ Attention ALL Parents and students!! For the 2010 yearbook we will be working with School Annual ONLINE!!! Click on http://www.schoolannualonline. User: Staff Job Year: 2010 8th Grade: This week you will begin to create your first self- driven projects. Make sure your written plan is being followed. Completion of this project requires a written list of materials, goals, and sketch of the artwork. 7th Grade: Sketches of your skeletons are complete. Begin to create your character for your skeleton wire armatures. We will begin these next week. 6th Grade: Clay demo was given last week during class. This week we will be working with clay to make a pinch pot. Please remember to roll up sleeves, remove jewelry, and keep you hands MOIST as you work, this will keep the clay from cracking and drying during the process. 5th Grade: Cray-Pas Contest Dec 11. We are learning how to blend and mix colors using oil pastels. They can be as beautiful as paint if you know how to use them. 4th Grade:Amphibian and reptile drawings continued. 3rd Grade: Amphibian and Reptile drawings continued. 2nd Grade: Coloring in our Horse sketches, continue to add background and foreground details to add depth. 1st Grade: Rain Forest Tree Frogs! We learned a little bit about the tree frogs, you even knew alot about them already! We will continue to cut them out and begin to add their color and patterns. Kindergarten: Fancy Foliage! We are going to cut out our leaf in the black paper and use the negative space to create a frame for our torn colored paper collage. Sign and hang in hallway. |
