ITBS – The students took their final test for the ITBS today. They took it seriously and I feel that they tried their best. Students who were absent will be able to take the make-up test next week. Thank you for having them at school on time and in a good frame of mind.

Spelling Words – Next week the students will have the same spelling words as we did this week. We did not spend a sufficient amount of time on spelling because of all the activities this week and I’d like to give them another go at it next week. There will be NO SPELLIMG HOMEWORK for next week.

Social Studies Address Sheet– Many children have been tested orally on their address, city, state, zip code, country, and the continent they live on. Please have your child send the sheet in so they can complete the art project that goes along with it. If he/she isn’t ready to take the oral test, I’ll send the sheet back home. If students didn’t know an item, I have sent it home for more study and he/she can test again on those missed items. This is an easy 100%. Continue drilling your child on your phone numbers because if your child needs to get in touch with you, you don’t want him/her to be stressed out because he/she doesn’t know how to reach you. Not only should the children know their home number, but also the cell and work number of their parents.

Social Studies Test – The students will take the test on Unit 2 next week. I had sent home a Study Guide earlier so that will help your child for the test.

Library Books – All library books are due May 14. Also, please look for any of my books that might be home.

Websites – I have sent a list of websites that will help your child with reading and math concepts. These are a lot of fun.
