Welcome to our class's webpage!

 
Landis Elementary is focusing on a school-wide theme this year with news about the many things our students are doing. Newsprint and bees can be seen throughout our school. We will have a school newsletter that will give "the buzz from the hive". With this in mind, please take this opportunity to help your child learn the parts of a newspaper, how to locate information (weather,sports, date, etc.), and to identify topic sentences in paragraphs.



  • Look below for websites to visit. Prescriptive Instruction is a great website to help your child practice curriculum material at their individual level.

 

  •  Behavior Sheets are returned every day with a parent's signature.On Friday, the prize box is open to students that have earned enough dollars throughout the week!

     



  • Yellow Folders of classwork go home on Friday. Please empty and return the folders on Monday. Review with your child his/her accomplishments and areas of improvement.


  • Have a special reading time with your child, discussing the stories after they have been read. Write the title on the Homework Sheet that is signed each night . This will help foster a love of reading in them and create a special time for you and your child!
