Social Studies, November 16-20, 2009 G-O1/ G-02: This week will be spent doing the following ~ The "Front Page Project" will be due Friday, November 20th. Class time this week will be spent working on the project and doing supplementary work involving Chapter 6. The first "Let's Be Heard!" for the secong quarter will be held for G-01 and for G-02 on Monday, November 23rd. The test on Chapter 6 will be held after Thanksgiving on Tuesday, December 1st. G-11: This week will be spent doing the following ~ You will receive your Review Sheets for Chapter 6 ("The Road to the Revolution") on Tuesday, November 17th. We will play "Jeopardy" on Monday, November 23rd. The test on Chapter 6 will be on Tuesday, November 24th. G-22: This week will be spent doing the following ~ We will begin the week, by concluding the Summary Writing Project on the President Obama DVD. The next item will be to take up the matter of Chapter 7 Focus Questions using the R.A.C.E. formula of Read - Answer - Cite - Explain. This will prepare us for the Review Sheets on Chapter 7 which will be given at the completion of Chapter 7 Focus Questions. The "Tea for a King" story is due on Wednesday, Nov. 18th. |
