Monday, January 23, 2012  to  Friday, February 17, 2012:

HONORS:  Monday, January 23, we will review Article I for a test on Tuesday,January 24. The balance of the week will be spent on Article II, qualifications for the presidency as well as 2-3 days on a "Design Your Own President" mini-project. "Let's Be Heard" for the third quarter will begin on Friday, January 27.  The weeks of January 30 and Feb. 6 will be spent on Articles III-VII and the Bill of Rights. "Let's Be Heard"  will be Friday Feb. 3 and Friday, Feb. 10.  During the week of Feb. 6, an in-depth research project on select Supreme Court cases will be introduced (probably around the 8th or 9th).  The week of Feb. 13 will be spent in research on these projects with "Let's Be Heard" on Friday, Feb. 17.  Class presentations on the Supreme Court cases project will begin after vacation on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
