Dear Parents/Students

It is a pleasure to come back to school for a new year. I am completely sure that it will be full of challenges, enjoyment and achievements.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage both parents and students to work together practicing the Spanish class content to create a base for future learning.

Mrs. Bolanos

Dear 6th, 7th, and 8th Spanish class students,

Read the following grammar review:
In Spanish there are three types of verbs: -ar, -er, and -ir. Here is a review of the -er present tense verbs. The endings of the stem of these verbs show who is doing the action, so you don't usually need to use the subject pronouns.

    Comer (to eat)

  yo              como

  tu               comes

  el/ella         come

  nosotros/as comemos

  ustedes       comen

  ellos/as       comen

Home Work: For Monday September 28, please complete the sentence for each of the subject pronouns / person(s) using the present tense of the verb comer.

Model: Maria come pollo y papas

1. Ellos ______________ helado y galletas

2. Tu no______________ carne ni arroz

3. Julia, Jose y yo    ______________ hamburguesa y papas fritas

4. Nacho _________________ muchas frutas y vegetales

5. Ana, Eva y Alicia _________________ en el restaurante cubano
