READING:
We're reading the story "Davy Crockett Saves the World" this week. We are also looking at how the setting of a story can change from one place to another and the effect that can have on the plot and characters in a story.
WRITING:
The students are still completing some of our beginning writings and are getting ready to begin work on writing clear paragraphs about themselves using their character traits acrostic poetry. We have also worked on types of sentences and the punctuation for these sentences.
