Upcoming Events

Due to website issues, I am now using the following to post class assignments, information, etc.

Teacher Website URL: http://www.inetteacher.com/teacher/104886

Please use this site from now on.  When logging on, you will be on the HOME page, use the menu on the left side to choose different pages.  When checking for homework assignments, click the 'Homework' link.  Once on that page,  click the drop down menu  (on the right side of page)to choose between 6th Grade, 7th Grade-Ms. Fertig, or 7th Grade-Ms. Tripp to view the assignment for that class.

Beginning September 25th and every Tuesday thereafter (unless it is posted on this site), students with questions can attend a help session in my classroom beginning at 8:45 AM.  This time can/will also be used to review quizzes and tests if time runs out during the regular class period.

I now have an edmodo page where you can find links to a variety of Math sites and even a few videos I have made.  The videos cover are of lessons that cover what we are learning in class.  Here is the link:

August 20-24

All students will need to obtain classroom supplies by Friday, Aug. 24th for my classes.  If there is a problem with this, please contact me immediately.

Student Information sheet ( to be completed by student) is due Friday, Aug. 24th.

Completed Summer Math worksheets will be your first recorded grade.  These are due Wed. August 22nd (extended to Friday August 24th).  You must attach all work to receive credit.

August 24th-

Almost all students have turned in their Summer Math assignment which was worth 15 points. Work needed to be shown to receive full credit.  The papers were graded, the number wrong were indicated, and they have been returned to students.  Most students earned 15/15 if they showed effort and all work.  Please check to make sure your child completed and turned in this assignment by going to the Parent Portal.  This assignment may be turned in late Monday Aug. 27th, but the highest score will be 10/15.  After Monday, it will not be accepted and the final grade will be 0/15.
