Sigma Phi Gamma is the SCIENCE HONORS CLUB here at East Rowan High School. 

Officers are working on by-laws, but traditionally, to be eligible for the club students should have completed biology and have at least a 3.5 GPA in Science.

Applications and $5 dues for the fall are due by the 2nd meeting which is the 2nd Monday of October.

Meeting dates and speakers:

T September 15 - Dr. Rebecca Julian - small/large animal vet. working at Lazy 5 Ranch.  Dr. Julian is a 1993 East Rowan High School Grad. and an NC State Grad.

S Sept 19 - Big Sweep.  We will meet at 9:00 am at the Wildlife Access on Bringle Ferry Rd at High Rock Dam.  This is approximately 7 miles from Dan Nicholas Park and will take about 25 minutes to get there from school.  Maps are available: see Mr. Ritchie.  We will pick up trash until about noon.  Have rides there at 12:00 for pickup.
