Lesson Plans for May 12 - May 16!

Welcome to schoolnotes.com for Mulvane Middle School. These are the lesson plans for Mr. Schmitz's ~ Computers/Technology for grades 6, 7 and 8. If you have any questions or concerns please e-mail me at tschmitz@usd263.k12.ks.us.

Open Lab times are as follows: Room 335 (Mr. Schmitz) Tues. & Thurs. 3:15-4:00/ Room 337 Tues. & Thurs. 7:15-7:45. Students will be reminded of the schedule in class and are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this to stay caught up.

*Note: I will follow these plans as close as possible but students should keep their planners/agendas up to date for latest changes. Students will be responsible for any in class announcement.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO HAVE THE REQUESTED STUDY FOLDER THAT IS LISTED ON YOUR SUPPLY LIST!

*** Grade 6 - red 2-pocket folder with wire brads
*** Grade 7 - blue 2-pocket folder with wire brads

~ ~ ~ Monday ~ ~ ~

Grade Six: Each student will begin the day by typing today's journal entry. The student's journal entry must be 100 words in length for an A+ (100%), 90 words for an A- (90%), etc. Use the CLASSROOM WEB PAGE listed above to see more details. The remaining class period will be used to begin the first study guide. The student will score five points if this study guide is completed with 100% accuracy by the end of class time tomorrow. The student will score zero points if the study guide is not completed with 100% accuracy by the end of class tomorrow. There will be a test on Wednesday based on the questions on this study guide.


Grade Seven: Each student will begin the day by typing today's journal entry. The student's journal entry must be 100 words in length for an A+ (100%), 90 words for an A- (90%), etc. Use the CLASSROOM WEB PAGE listed above to see more details. The remaining class period will be used to begin the next study guide. The student will score five points if this study guide is completed with 100% accuracy by the end of class time tomorrow. Each student may continue working on the ten keyboarding lessons from the textbook.

The remaining class time will be used to work on the ten keyboarding lessons from the textbook. The student may use this time to finish the formatting assignment from last Friday. The student will also complete the clicker test for this week.


Grade Seven: Each student will begin the day by typing today's journal entry. The student's journal entry must be 100 words in length for an A+ (100%), 90 words for an A- (90%), etc. Use the CLASSROOM WEB PAGE listed above to see more details. The student will continue typing report #8. See the score sheets provided in class at http://mulvaneks.org/Schmitz/Reports.html. The student will also complete the clicker test for this week and keyboarding lessons.
