The children just finished our amazing unit on Owls!  Last week they were able to rotate to various owl centers where they were able to dissect owl pellets, research owls, view owls via an owl cam, participate in owl art activities, and compare the height and weight of various different owls!  Come check out our 2nd grade hall and see their progress hanging throughout our halls!

We just finished reading "Owl Moon" last week and this week we will be reading a story called, "Ants" and continuing various comprehension activities. 

We will be discussing our new writing rubric!

In math, we just finished up 2 digit addition and will now be moving to subtraction this week.
