LA: WW spelling lesson 8 is a review- page 183-184 are to be done with a game of your choice from the paper given in class. All are due on Thrusday. Remember to make a 2nd copy so another can play your game and bring a small prize for the winner.

SS:  Red group only-Label  only 5 steps to civilization paper. title and each division should be labeled as per paper given in class. Entire project is due on Friday!

LA: Continue working on your WW 183-184 and your game. See above directions.

LA: Finish your WW 183-184 and your game with a prize.

SS: Red group-Finish page 18 in Workbook and bring supplies to work on 5 Steps in class on Thursday. Due at the beginning of class on Friday. We will have a test on 11/10 that covers early man, Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Thursday10/28 Finish Book Report. Remember it is an oral report. You are to pick a paragraph to read to the class after you have told us just enough to make the paragraph interesting. Tell us the author, title and copyright date and what happens after the part you read to us. All this in about one-one and a half minutes. Practice this!

LA: Study spelling, Finish the RD of your two paragraph essay on making a difference.

Permission slips were passed out for upcoming Egypt guest speaker event. Students must have signed permission slip to attend. We are requesting $4.00 to cover cost of presentations. Another guest speaker will come in May to present Rome. No more money will be collected then. We need money and permission slips by Monday 11/8.

LA: Complete the revisions and write a final draft of the Scout's honor paragraph. Follow the recipe to do all the things neede to improve your paragraph. Write in ink and skip lines OR type it.

Wednesday 4/13 Remember your green form for next year is due tomorrow! Also field trip is on Friday at 8:00 am- You need a lunch, a water bottle, comfortable shoes and long pants. Please dress in layers and bring backpack  with a pencil to take care of your own things.

Are you trying to make up any late work? Our "last chance" Solutions is tomorrow! We can only take late work up until Friday IF you are planning to attend the swim day party on May 31. Others that aren't going to go to the swim day can work up until May 27th to complete work owed.

Week of May 31- June 3

Monday - Holiday

Tuesday  5/31Swim Day - In class for two periods then walk to the pool for the rest of the day. Those not going to party are in class working on school work for the remainder of the day.

Wednesday 6/1 We will not be having any homwork this week. Books should ALL be turned in by now. Friday is Fun Day and students must take care of returning books and any fines in order to attend the fun of Fun Day.

As a final parting, please know this ,for me ,has been a great year. A great way to finish my career in teaching! Your students will need to work hard in the 7th grade and do their absolute best and they will do fine. Rest up parents and students and have a great summer. Wishing you ALL the best in life! A fond farwell!
