Special Note to Parents: Welcome to Fletcher Middle School and the 2009/2010 school year! This is going to be a great learning year for all of the children on the Pelican Team. If you need to get in touch with me, I prefer that you call me at 247-5929 and leave a message on my voice mail; or you can e-mail me at boddens@duvalschools.org. Please give me 24 hours to get back to you. All children should begin doing a daily 10-minute review (the review can be anything from times tables, vocabulary words and definitions, new skill started the same day in class, an old skill to keep it sharp,...) in addition to any writen work of the day. You may be surprised at how this little bit of study time adds up and how easy it is to keep grades up to a "C" or better with this as part of a daily study routine. In the coming months, parents will soon have access to their children's grades on line and another way to keep up with assignments and other items. Be looking for information on how to access this service coming your way. I will use School Notes until then.
