WELCOME PARENTS AND GUARDIANS OF STOW MUNROE FALLS HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. This website was updated on 4/29/08. This page is designed to inform parents of what is happening in the planning of the 2008 After Prom (May 17, 2008) Event for our graduating seniors.


The After Prom Fun Night will be held from 12:00 to 4:00am May 17th at Stow High School. The theme of After Prom is "Night at the Movies" and the decorating committee has brainstormed some great ideas revolving around the movies our kids grew up with.


PARENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! You don't have to be the parent of a Senior. In fact, Junior parents, this is a good opportunity to see what you will be planning next year.

We need parents to sign up to help with After Prom. We have three main needs:

1) Set-up before After Prom. Friday evening May 16th from 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Then again on Saturday - all day from 8 am til we're done. Anyone with a big truck or pickup truck will be appreciated. Guys - we need your muscles!!

2) We need volunteers during After Prom. The games committee still needs help. Do you like to play cards? We need you! We also could use some more help with the prize & food committees.

3) Clean-up. We need fresh volunteers to come the next day and clean up all that hasn't been taken care of the night before. Preferrably folks that weren't up all night. Senior parents whose kids don't want them at After Prom - this is where you can help!

Kim Disanto and Holly Collins have been hard at work sending out letters to businesses for donations and prizes. So far, we are getting a good response, but we can always use more - especially monetary donations! These are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Bonnie Baker has a form to send back to any parent or business that provides a donation.

Senior Parents:

Our kid’s senior year is almost over! Too soon they will be walking across the stage receiving their hard earned diplomas. To celebrate their K-12 experience, the 2008 SMFHS After-Prom Committee is planning a fun-filled After-Prom event.

Each senior, regardless of whether he or she attends the Prom is invited, along with a guest, to the 2008 After- Prom. This is a fully chaperoned party just for them and is Free of Charge. Our goal is to give the Seniors an evening together in a fun, drug and alcohol-free atmosphere. This year’s theme is “Night at the Movies” and there will be music, games, prizes, and refreshments for their enjoyment.

The 2008 After-Prom will be held Saturday evening, May 17th, at Stow-Munroe Falls High School following the Prom. After-Prom is a lock-in event – students will not be permitted to leave until early morning. For those going to Cedar Point the next day, there will be ample time to return home, change and return to school for the bus ride. As we are 100% self-funded, the committee is in need of many things:
