Week of March 7-11

• Math- Chapter 13 Understanding how to read and write fractions, finding equivalent fractions and adding fractions with like denominators.
• Religion- Chapter 16- 17 Quiz Thursday the study of the 6,7, 9, and 10 Commandments
• Also discussing the Season of Lent

• Social Studies- We are studying the conflict between Britain and the Colonists
• Test on Friday

• Science- We are studying the classification of Plants and Animals
• The students worked in groups to make boards games last week and had a great time playing them in class!  Good Job!

• ILA
• Spelling- suffixes added to words
• Reading- Harvesting Hope-  Test Friday
• Focus on Persuading and Predicting outcomes

·        Descriptive Writing- Final drafts will be completed by Friday

This week is the Last Week of the Second Trimester!  Report Cards will be sent home on Tuesday March 22, 2011.
