(Due to 6 classes in 2nd grade this year my class is split in half to accomodate the 4 enhancement classes. Each half will go to all enhancements with another class. #1-9 go with Mrs. Oakley/#10-18 go with Mrs. Doom.)

~ Books-n-Bag~
On Monday's your child will bring home a book in a bag. This book should be returned on Wednesday. When your child returns the book, they will either be asked questions orally or fill out a sheet about the story they read. A new book will be issued on Wednesday and should be brought back on Friday. In the event there is a short week, the book will be sent home on the first day we are here and returned two days later. Please let them read the book to you. The more they read, the better readers they will become!!!
Projects can be turned in at any time throughout the quarter. All have to be turned in by March 29th to be considered for the reading reward.
Read 20 minutes EVERY night and record it on your reading log for your reading homework! For every 5 books you read, you earn a scoop of ice cream for the class!! When our bowl is full we will have a party!!!
