Objectives:

Suggest several additons to quick breads that increase nutritional value

Discuss the differences and similarities between the muffin method and the pastry and biscuit method of mixing

Discribe the characteristics of properly mixed and baked muffins and biscuits

Monday-Questions #1-10 on page 588 from chapter 21 Baking

Tuesday-Grade Questions and Discuss what a proper muffin should look like, start to plan muffin lab

Wednesday-Plan muffin lab, make grocery lists and choose type of muffin

Thursday-Muffin Lab

Friday-Post Lab Discussion; Start Yeast Breads

Family Living and Parenthood

Objectives:

-Identify elements of good working relationships

-Explain the importance of relationships on the job

-Describe the benefits of good working relationships at school and in the community

-Suggest qualities and skills that improve teamwork

-Summarize the qualities needed for leadership

Monday-Continue discussion about why it is important to get along with others in the workplace and having good manners

Tuesday- Share our TV shows. Divide into two groups and create another show. Write skit to share with class

Wednesday-Skits and Discussion

Thursday- What would you change about your family?

Friday-Chapter 8 Review

This project is worth 150 points!!!

I will come in early on Monday, Thursday, and Friday if you would like to work on your backpack.

Sewing projects will not be taken out of the classroom for any reason until finished and final grade is recorded. Doing so will result in an automatic zero for the project.

If you have not paid your $6.00 for the sewing kit, please do so as soon as possible!
