Welcome to Sacred Heart School Kindergarten School Notes

Please note:  The date of the Pilgrim Trip to the Wildlands Conservancy in Emmaus has been changed to Monday, November 23, 2009, due to the school turkey dinner, which was scheduled for Tuesday.  Please forgive my delay in getting this information to you, and any inconvenience the change may have caused you, if you had planned to join us.

Scientist of the Day:  Lucas

When asked if we should do his experiment outside, Lucas quickly answered, "YES!"  And are we glad we did.  Lucas created a 'Mentos Geyser' with Diet Coke and two Mentos (candy mints).  "You see," says Lucas, "the mentos have tiny holes on them.  When put into soda, then (carbon dioxide)  bubbles attach themselves to the many holes."  This results in a mighty gust of gaseous bubbles which shoot into the air."  Well done, Lucas!

Happy November Birthdays
