  Welcome to Third Grade
Mrs. Cook's Class
            
Welcome back to school!  I hope that you all had a wonderful and relaxing summer.  We are jumping right into things here in third grade.  We have been rotating for math, reading and social studies since the first day of school.  Please make sure that you are reading 30 minutes every night with your child.  There is a reading log in his/her folder that needs to be signed along with the agenda.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email! We are looking forward to a great year!

Important information
Monday: Bible
Tuesday:Art and PE (wear your tennis shoes)
Wednesday: Media (bring back books)
Thursday: Guidance
Friday: Music

Students will be participating in Book Adventure this year.  They will be allowed to read books and take tests on the computer accumulating points.  They will then be able to spend points on various prizes.

High Frequency word lists were sent home at Open House or on the first day of school. The tests dates are listed for the entire year.  Please make sure that you are studying these words.  Thank you!
