I hope that our summers were full of fun and relaxing days. I amalso hoping that you will return to school bursting with new ideas and great books to talk about.

This fall we will be embarking upon a new curricular journey as we institute Reader's Workshop in the classroom. This means that it is very important for you to have selected some high interest and some "Just Right" books to read both at home and at school.

In addition, we will continue our writing focus as well as grammar! I am so excited for this school year as I know we will be growing a tremendous amount together!
