Enrichment We will address the following areas: MATH - Fractions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) - Decimals (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) - Measurement (conversions) - Algebra (equations, expressions, properties) - Ratios (ex:7:10, 7 to 10, and 7/10) LANGUAGE ARTS - Synonyms - Antonyms - Prefixes - Suffixes - Reading Comprehension (UNRAAVEL) - Grammar and Sentence Structure Warm-ups: Each class will begin with a short writing exercise, which will usually be based around one of the 12 POWERFUL WORDS. This will help students familiarize themselves with these words, which they are likely to see again on the EOG's. **Note to Parents - I will assign each student a computer. This is meant to assist in monitoring and keep the computers clean and in good condition. I will stay on track with each grade specific pacing guide. This will help me reiterate what the students are already hearing in their other classes throughout the day. Repetition breeds success!!!
