BSMS has several options to enable parents to keep in touch with their student's grades, attendance information and general school news.

In order to take advantage of all these opportunities, please be sure to keep your telephone number and your email, and home address up to date.  Contact Karen Hughes at 992-4422 to update your information.

There are two ways to access the ParentLink system, by telephone and by computer with internet access. Most information is available from both access methods. Look for more information in you student's first day packet. There was a detailed ParentLink handout included in it.

The website hosts information about our school, staff, calendar events, school supplies, contact information with email links, as well as links to ParentLink and Edgate.

The BSMS Edgate web portal:

Edgate includes the Schoolnotes teacher webpages which some of our teachers use to post information about their classes and their homework hotline. There are also a lot of resources and education tips for both parents and students on this site.

Homework Hotline is available. Teachers may opt to use ParentLink or Edgate for their homework hotline.   Parents/students will be given a 5 digit code for each teacher's homework hotline in ParentLink. (The same 5 digit code is used to call Parentlink and leave a voice mail for a teacher). Parents/students can also go to the teacher's Schoolnotes web page on the Edgate website if the teacher is posting information on their website.
