 6th Grade Upcoming Units/Projects:

Time and Date:  Learn to tell time, say the season, month, day of the week and date in Spanish

Colors & Shapes:  Learn basic colors and shapes, test unit

7th Grade Upcoming Units/Projects:

Research Project:  Students will research an Hispanic topic.  They will create their own web page using PBWorks to present their project.

Cultural Video:  Students will have the option of viewing the movie "In the Time of the Butterflies".  This movie is a culturally accurate presentation of the struggle in the Dominican Republic against the tyrannical dictator, Rafael Trujillo.  The movie is rated PG-13 due to some graphic scenes of violence.  A parental permission form will be sent home.
